Founded in 1990 as a company dedicated to the manufacturing of fittings, it quickly became renowned within the local market and, after the first few years of operation, started to market its products throughout Spain.

It was in 1995 when EUROLATON started its export activity and in the same year built its current headquarters in Caldas de Reyes (Pontevedra), Spain. In 1999 it set up its factory in Yu Huan and created EUROLATON CHINA CO., LTD. In 2001 it started to manufacture in this factory and founded a new subsidiary EUROLATON DEUTSCHLAND GmbH. In August 2002 the company Ping Xin became part of the EUROLATON group.

In January 2003 the new facilities in Caldas de Reyes were inaugurated and in June of the same year a new subsidiary was created, EUROLATON MEXICO, S. A. DE C. V.
In December 2004 an enlargement (25,000 m2) of the EUROLATON China factory was inaugurated.

In January 2005 it acquired land for a new EUROLATON production complex in Yu Huan (100,000 m2). This project will be implemented between 2006 and 2010. In March 2005 it opened its commercial office in Shanghai (specially dedicated to the US market). In December 2005 it acquired 60% of the company QUINDA Stainless Steel Corporation. This company will change its name to EUROLATON QUINDA STAINLESS STEEL CO., LTD.

May 2006 is the start date for the construction of the new corporate headquarters and logistical centre in Hückeswagen (Germany), headquarters which will be up and running in December of the same year. On 14 June, the managing director of EUROLATON placed the foundation stone of EUROLATON Mexico, which will be inaugurated in March 2007.

EUROLATON consolidated itself as a market leader in Spain as from 1994. It then initiated its expansion to other countries with Venezuela, Australia, Germany, France and Portugal being the first where the EUROLATON brand made its presence felt. This was followed by the USA, United Kingdom, Holland, Chile, Egypt, China up to a total of 40 countries which are the current recipients of our exports.

For the purposes of facilitating access to our products we have set up logistical centres and subsidiaries in Germany (EUROLATON Deutschland), Mexico (EUROLATON Mexico), Argentina (inauguration in February 2007) and a representative office in Shanghai which is specially dedicated to the market in the USA.

From the initial manufacturing until the final product reaches our clients, each part of the process has to pass strict controls. The qualities of our raw material, its engraving, polishing, galvanic treatment, PVD, are carefully analysed in order to offer the highest quality level. For this reason EUROLATON was the first company, dedicated to ironwork manufacturing, to obtain the ISO 9001 certificate and from January 2003 we proudly hold this certificate in our factory in YUHUAN China.
Our quality control departments carry out daily audits and different analysis. Ageing, traction, stress and abrasion tests, saline fog tests, etc., are everyday activities within our factories.
For this reason EUROLATON is a synonym of quality.
